• Cindy Harris

  Cindy Harris is the owner of Rumors Hair Studio and has been a hair stylist for over 20 years. She strives to make sure each and every client is happy with their experience and takes pride in knowing they're more than satisfied when they walk out our door.

  Cindy has had many years and several hundred hours of advanced education and hands on training. This has made her talent and skill more polished and perfected today than ever before. With trends in fashion changing often, Cindy's main goal is to keep up with the latest and newest hair creations. That in itself, will help her clients, both old and new, keep up to date and current with their own personal style.

• Karen Hill

  Karen Hill graduated from Alamance Beauty College in 1983 and went to work at Mantrap Haircutters soon after.

  While there for almost 30 years, Karen had numerous opportunities for hands on training classes, with Paul Mitchell, Tigi, Matrix, Graham Webb, Redken and many more. With almost yearly trips to Hair Shows, there were many occasions to learn new and exciting techniques.

  Karen enjoys all aspects of the hair industry, but particularly enjoys cuts, color and highlights.

  Karen's favorite part is the interaction with so many wonderful clients. Trying to work with them to find the look they want is what makes hairdressing not so much a job, but an adventure!

  Karen also loves getting to work with wonderful hairdressers, like former co-workers at Mantrap and now with Cindy, Leah, Sam and Norman at Rumors.

  Martin Sanderson joined Rumors Hair Studio in July 2013. As your personal hair consultant, Martin considers many factors; from your professional life, to your social life, to your wellness and workout routines. Martin's goal is to create a natural, beautiful look that fits your personal style.

• Stevie Locklear

  Stevie Locklear is a cosmetology professional who has practiced the art since 1983. Currently a licensed Cosmetology Educator and practicing Cosmetologist, Stevie has also recently completed Park West Barber School. Knowledgeable and experienced in all facets of the industry, Stevie is skilled in his craft. Ranging from the mild to the wild, Stevie always focuses on the customer experience.

• Wanda Tripp

  Wanda is from Rochester, NY. She has been in the hair industry for over 36 years. After owning her own salon in New York for 25 years, "Wet-N-Wild Hair Designers", she decided to venture into new territories. She, then, moved to North Carolina and applied her skills at Lavish Hair Spa for 2 years. We are very happy to have such a wonderfully seasoned hair dresser join us!!

  Wanda has a variety of skills and enjoys working with all types of hair textures. After a thorough consultation, Wanda evaluates each and every aspect of her clients past hair maintenance, hair care, and what each guest's expectations are for their desired look. She also takes into consideration, the attending college students who have no time for maintenance, due to busy schedules and lifestyles. Among the many she has had the pleasure working with are the Duke University Golf and Soccer team athletes. Wanda strides for perfection in all ways possible. She enjoys and excels in extensions, natural hair, and relaxers, just to name a few.
